For example, UP Board (UPMSP) Class 10 now mandates 20 marks of objective Multiple Choice Questions answered on an OMR sheet, followed by 50 marks of descriptive theory in Section B. Similarly, Bihar Board (BSEB) provides 50% objective weightage with generous internal choices, and MP Board (MPBSE) dedicates 30–40% of its paper to objective, match-the-column, and one-word questions.
